FREE FIRE EXTINGUISHER INSPECTIONS-SATURDAY, JUNE 20, 2009 (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM) All you need to do is place all of your fire extinguishers on the front of your boat or place them on your dock box. Leave your name, address, phone number, boat name, and slip number and they will be inspected for free. If they need to be recharged or replaced, they will do that and leave you a bill.
Service is provided by CHOATE FIRE PROTECTION (361-2600). If you need an inspection of your HALON SYSTEM, just give them a call to set up a separate service call. Thanks to Larry Link for setting this up.
The 2009 summer boating season is now in full swing. Please help us ensure that this is a safe and enjoyable summer for all by keeping the dock area around your slip neat and uncluttered. Now is also a good time to refresh yourself and/or your renters with the Marina Rules of Conduct found under the Documents section of this site. One rule to note is that all vessels moored in the marina are required to exit the marina under their own power at least once every 90 days during the summer months (April-October).
If you notice any maintenance needs for the docks, ramps, pedestals, and grounds, please report them to Stan on the Maintenance Request Form found in the Documents section of this site.
The first phase of the Power Pedestal Renovation has been completed. Eighty-five pedestals underwent some electrical repair. The next step is to replace six broken bases before they are painted. During this repair phase brief interruptions of electric power to pedestals being repaired will occur.
Competitive bids are currently being acquired for painting the dock poles and the power pedestals, and re-decking the ramps and D and E docks.
